Day 1/2:Departure-Arrival-Yerevan city tour
Arrival at the airport in Yerevan Zvarnots. Meet and greet transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at the hotel. Rest. After late breakfast start exploring one of the oldest cities in the world - Yerevan. The center of Yerevan and the main building are best explored on foot. Just walking one can encounter to the best Yerevan has to offer. Climb up the many steps of Cascade complex to enjoy the panoramic view of the mystical Mount Ararat as well as the whole city. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 3:Southern Summit Aragats
Early drive to Kari Lake/Stone Lake (3,200 m) located in the slopes of Mount Aragats. The mount considered the highest peak in the South Caucasus at 4091 meters and has become a permanent home for mountaineers. Aragats is considered to be the twin of the Mount Ararat. In ancient times many myths have been entwined to the never-ending battle between the fire-breathing dragon of these two mighty volcanoes. Ascent to the South Summit of Aragats (3880m). It's worth the effort, because you can enjoy a beautiful view of the surroundings. Return to Yerevan. Free time. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 4:Yerevan-Tsachkaschen-Lake Akna
Today the starting point of our trekking is Tsachkaschen. Trekking around Lake Akna. A nice view of the picturesque natural surroundings. A gentle climb over a steep takes us through meadows and mountain springs to the tents. Picnic lunch en route. Lake Akna (about 3,000 m) is nestled between the mountains. Here we will pitch the tents. Dinner in the open air. Overnight in tents.

Day 5:Lake Akna-Mountain Ajdahak
After breakfast walk to Ajdahak (3.597m). We will enjoy the good weather, the view of the mighty biblical Mount Ararat in the south of Armenia. Picnic lunch en route. Dinner in the open air. Overnight in tents.

Day 6:Mountain Ajdahak-Lake Vanki-Geghard
The hiking will take us over to mountain slopes and meadows around Lake Vanki. You will see two impressive Vishapakars near the lake. Trekking to Geghard. Dinner in the open air. Overnight in tents.

Day 7:Yerevan-Geghard-Garni Temple-Yerevan
Today we will trek towards Geghard. Our next stop is the Monastery of Geghard. The complex of Geghard is partially carved out of adjacent rocks. Here we will learn about many legends, relics and the head of the spear that Jesus Christ was stabbed with. Visit the Temple of Sun - Garni (1.300m). The temple was constructed in 1st century AD. In 1679 an earthquake devastated the area destroying the temple. The temple was reconstructed in the 60's of the last century. Return to Yerevan. Farewell dinner in a traditional restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Transfer to the airport. Departure home!
